1. Validity of warranty
1.1. These ‘Warranty Terms’ apply to the products sold by the seller.
1.2. The warranty period for the product starts when the product is sold to the end user or installed by a distributor.
1.3. Warranty periods vary for different product groups, according to the purchase and sales contracts concluded between the parties.
1.4. The warranty covers defects in product restoration that become evident during the warranty period. The responsibility for the conformity of the installation of the product is assumed and warranted to the end user by the vehicle service station where the work is carried out.
1.5. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear of the products during their use, inadequate maintenance, faulty installation, incorrect use, defects caused by other external factors, improper use of the goods or use thereof under conditions for which the goods are not intended (on racing cars).
2. Handling of warranty claims
2.1. The warranty claimant is required to deliver the defective product and the necessary documentation to the seller at the claimant’s own expense as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days after the defect is detected.
2.2. In addition to the ‘Warranty claim’, a faulty product, a letter of explanation with an exact description of the defect (in which the defect manifested itself), a warranty card if it exists for the product in question, a copy of the sales document (invoice, receipt) for the end user, a copy of the installer’s invoice (receipt), the car inspection report prepared by the recipient for the purpose of the warranty inspection of the product. This means that the product must be submitted for an initial inspection with the car, so that the condition of the accessories can be checked.
2.2.1. In the event of more complicated cases, the car is inspected at the vehicle service station accepted by the seller.
2.3. The seller’s warranty handling period is a minimum of 7 days from the arrival of all necessary documentation at the seller’s warranty department. If the product requires an additional expert assessment, the handling time will be extended by the corresponding procedure.
2.4. The costs (expert, transport) related to the handling of the warranty claim are paid by the seller. If this is not a warranty case, the costs will be paid by the warranty claimant.
2.5. If the product was not found to be covered by warranty, the warranty claimant has the right to order an expert assessment on their own. The person performing the expert assessment must be acceptable to the seller.
3. Seller’s liability
3.1. If the product has not been used and the defect can be detected without an expert assessment, the defective product will immediately be replaced with a new one or reimbursed.
3.2. The seller eliminates, free of charge, any design, material and manufacturing defects that occur during the warranty period. If the defect cannot be corrected, the product will be replaced with an equivalent product.
3.3. Repairing the product does not extend the original warranty period.
3.4. The seller’s liability for the defects and shortcomings in the product and for the direct damage caused by them is in any event limited to the warranty provided by the seller in clause 3.2. The seller is not liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by the purchaser or a third party, or for any production loss, loss of profit or other indirect losses caused by the defects or shortcomings.
3.5. The seller is not required to reimburse the costs of replacing the products covered by warranty.
3.6. In the event of a warranty case, the seller will reimburse the reasonable shipping costs of the goods within the Republic of Estonia.
3.7. A product covered by warranty that has been reimbursed or replaced is not returned.
3.8. If the product is not accepted as being covered by warranty, the product will be returned to the owner at the owner’s expense.
3.9. By notifying the warranty claimant that the repaired (replaced) product has been
delivered to the seller’s warehouse, the seller has performed its warranty obligation.
